About us
The Northumbria Coalition Against Crime is a registered charity which seeks to reduce crime and fear of crime and so improve the quality of life for those living and working in the North East.
We are based at Northumbria Police Headquarters in Ponteland and have a long-standing relationship with all police forces in our region. Although we often work closely with the police, we are entirely independent.
Our Youth Projects promote young people as the solution, not the problem. We work towards long term change by challenging attitudes and behaviour, educating and supporting.
We also help reduce crime against businesses in our region. We provide support to the North East division of Retailers Against Crime, who work along side us at our premises in Ponteland. For more information on Retailers Against Crime, visit their website here.
