The Attitude to Rules 2 (A2R2) project is a follow on from a very successful resource pack developed in 1997.

Aimed at pupils aged 8, 9 and 10 (years 4,5 and 6), Attitude to Rules 2 works through a series of exercises and discussions designed to measure young people attitudes towards offences, and shop theft in particular.

In the sessions led by 'Detective Rat', young people focus on their attitudes towards each other, their parents and guardians, their school and the wider community.

No two A2R2 sessions are identical, as the needs and concerns of the pupils drives the process.

Fitting well into the Citezenship programme, A2R2 is delivered using a combination of Coalition Youth Programme workers, specially trained retail staff and specialist drama/art tutors.
